So, I have a Pavilion p6716f-b Bundle Computer, and I'm wondering if upgrade is possible to make it slightly better for gaming.
Processor: AMD athlon II 640 x4
6 Gb of ram
ATI radeon 4200 INTEGRATED graphics card.

So, that integrated part is holding my back, but I hear some motherboards have spots for discrete ones, how do I know if I have one of these? Or, if not, is it possible on this computer to just replace Motherboard, processor and Gfx card? From the way it looks though my graphics card pretty much stinks.
Thanks!

Well, for a PSU I also have a 430w Max Antec one, if that will fit. I can spend $200 comfortable, maybe more.

Yes it should fit.
The Antec should give you enough juice to run the 7850 comfortably.
How old is this PSU?
I personally like to replace my PSUs every 5 years depending on how hard I push them.
The other question would be how much room do you have for a GPU?
Some are long and you might have clearance issues so do some measuring before buying...
