I am using an ADATA SP600 64 GB, and I am going to replace it with a Samsung 840 500 GB SSD. I need to delete windows 8 off the ADATA so when I take it out, and replace it with the Samsung, I will be able to activate windows on the new Samsung 840. How do I do this?

Solution
Just clone the old SSD to the new one using this kit the Apricorn Sata Wire Hard Drive Upgrade Kit ($17) (it says notebook but you can use it for desktops as well).

You just install the EZ Gig software. Connect the new drive via the USB connector that comes with the kit. Run the Ez Gig software's cloning wizard. Shut down and swap out the old drive with the new and you've just accomplish what you need to without having to activate Windows at all. It will be activated just as it was on the old drive.
