Need help building a gaming/editing PC for $1800-2400

Hi I'm new to this website and I was wondering what would be the ultimate gaming/editing PC for around $2000. Also how much more would I have to spend for something like a gtx 690. I don't want SLI cause I heard theirs a few problems that come with that. Prefer Nvidia iswell.

^ Basically that, we need more info before we can really help you and that form will give us what we need.

A 690 is SLI, its just two GK104 GPU's (found in the 660ti, 670 and 680) on the one board with an internal SLI bridge. If your looking for a non multi-GPU config at around $1000, have a look at the GTX Titan.
