I noticed the water cooler can be slightly shifted if touch, might it be since I added the backplate to LGA 2011, even though it mentioned not required?

Solution edogawa Apr 13, 2013 aonor : It's 90 on idle. The top of the standoff, the screw part, broke. Does anyone know where to get another? Wow, that's bad... You need to contact Corsair for an RMA or for them to send you a new screw part then. You shouldn't even be using the system if it idles at 90c. The H100i should not be wobbling. It needs to be firm/tight against the processor. There should be no wobble.

You didn't tell me if this was on a load, like prime95 or intel burn test or just idle. If this is idle, turn off the system and read your H100 manual. The h100 should be firm/tight, but not to tight. Follow this guide here: http://www.corsair.com/us/blog/how-to-install-the-hydro-series-h100i-cpu-cooler/ Upvote 0 Downvote
