Hey Tom's Hardware Community,

I have a strange problem that I can't seem to find any answers. I have 3 displays all Dell ultrasharps 2312hm. 2 are connected with DVI one is connected to display port. Graphics card is a PNY GTX 670, Motherboard Sabertooth z77, CPU i5 3570k. When I try to play any game in surround my center monitor (connected with displayport) goes black. Its not in sleep mode because the light is still blue. The screen just stays black. The left and right monitor (connected to DVI) stays on and displays as it should. I can't figure out why it does this.

I have also purchased Belkin F2CD000b10-E cable. (supposedly these don't have pin 20 connected)

I can temporary fix this black out problem by power cycling the center monitor. But if I launch a different game or if I change orientation from landscape to portrait it goes black again.

Updated drivers for GTX 670 and bios for motherboad already.

Hope someone can provide me with some solutions

Thanks

Okay so after playing around with it. Switching computers/cables/graphic cards. I finally realized its the monitor back light going out. Took a flashlight to it and can faintly see images. Never would've guess that something like this would happen with an out of a box Dell monitor. Looks like its going back to Newegg.
