Fitting cooler master hyper 212 evo in my case

I'm planning to buy cooler master hyper 212 evo but it seems its only about 5mm taller. So how can I fit it in my case? Saw a bit from the top?

I think it should fit, in mm the 212 EVO is a 159mm in height which comes to exactly 6.3 inches, which is from the base to tip of the heatsink, any standard ATX case should fit it.

Measure the Case distance from the CPU to the side panel with a tape.

The Hyper 212 will fit in most mid-tower cases that are at least 8" wide and will not fit in a slim style case as the Hyper 212 is 6 1/2" tall.

Mine is 7" wide and when I measure from the CPU there's actually 9mm more so how should I fit it or is there any coolers that are shorter than evo which costs about $30 but equilly good.
