NZXT Sentry 2 LX beeping when fan stops - low temps

Surprisingly, Google was incredibly unhelpful with this issue. I have my NZXT Sentry 2 LX fan controller set up inside a CoolerMaster HAF 932 Advanced case and on day 1 (months ago) I was having an issue with the front fan, it would constantly turn off and on and off an on causing the alert to sound. So I simply disconnected the fan from the controller and set it back to the default.

Now that it's getting warmer out and we have the A/C on in the house, the comp temps are obviously lower. Now my side fan (which I have the probe set for the mobo) is hovering around 20 degrees on idle, and the fan keeps jumping from 0 to 3000 rpms. It does this every 1-2 seconds. And as you know, 0 means the alert sounds. And it's driving me batshit insane. Why in the world doesn't the fan just stay on at a range of temperatures instead of cutting off a specific temp?

I don't want to set it to manual because that will be way too much maintenance going from gaming to normal use to idle. I also don't want the alert off as I do find it useful in the event of a mishap. How do I just make the damn fan just stay on? Or is there another way around this? Thanks!

(Apologies for tone, constant beeping is rather frustrating.)

Dude, I totally understand. I have the same controller, same case, and am having the same issue with my side fan. Not as often, but around every 20 minutes of general use. With the other fans i have in the case already, the side fan set to manual at 60% seems to keep enough air moving to keep my temps cool.

Even with the manual setting the case gives enough air flow to keep the sys at an acceptable sertting.

Old thread I know, but I have the exact same case and fan controller and it happens for me as well, I find when I set it over to manual the beeping stops, its frustrating having to do that but better than it beeping every 2 seconds.
