Is my current configuration fit for upgrade from Radeon HD 5670 to Radeon HD 6770?

Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus 460W RS-460-PCAR-A3
Asus M4A785T-M motherboard
AMD Phenom II x4 B55 3.2Ghz

Yes that's fine.
The CM 460W should be enough for HD 6770 power requirements which is only 110W.
Happy Gaming. Though I would prefer a HD7790. Thanks

Is there any performance drop if I use 7770 in pcie 2.0 x16?

There will be no noticeable performance loss using a PCIE 3.0 card in a PCIE2.0 Slot. These cards are PCIE backward compatible. Thanks

Hi,
If you are planning to buy 6770 then it would be wise to go for 7770. Same price, newer, better, lower consumption, better overclocking card.
Best regards :)

2.0 x16 and 3.0 x16 you won't feel or see even nano difference.
2.0 x8 and 2.0 x16 is aprox 4% diff.

But either way, 6770 vs 7770 in the same slot (2.0), and 7770 performs better.
7770 for same price as 6770 should be no second thoughts.
