suggest ram for my config!!!!

hey guys just wanted a advice that which and how much ram will be the best and advisable for this config:::

amd am3 mobo
ati phenom x4 3.2ghz
sapphire 7770
corsair cx500
1 tb Seagate
and currently am using 2x2gb ddr3 transcend ram....

if you want to put another 2x2 kit in, this one looks fine assuming you are fine with 1333..

but i'd just drop the additional 20 dollars and get a 2x4 kit so you have room to expand more if you want.

or if you find anything on sale for like 5 or 10 off, just get that as RAM is usually pretty problem free.

thanks for ur kind suggestions but how about a corsair vengeance 8gb ram coz I have heard a lot about it .....hows the performance and will it be suitable for my comp???

For anything not super high end (like extreme workloads, video encoding, photoshop, etc) it will make no difference between the highest speed ram available today, and the lowest end DDR3. Even in gaming its a less than 1fps difference.

There are exceptions, things like AMDs APUs really need faster ram for the ondie GPU... But thats all I can think of at the moment.

will a single ram 1x8gb corsair vengenance support my asus m4n68tm le v2 motherboard?????....or 2x4gb ddr3 transcend and 1 x 8gb corsair vengnance that mean total 3 chips and 12gb of ram but from different company .....also will other components of my will be functional ???

the RAM kit don't love with other single channel .. you can use 1x8 corsair or 2x4 transcend .. corsair don't love with other brand and of course performance dual channel transcend will more than single channel corsair

I have only 4 slots in my motherboard and 2 are already been used by 2x2gb ddr3 transcend so now what do u suggest???

get dual channel same spec same as already your RAM if want full 4slot

I don't want to use full 4 slots coz it wont serve my purpose in the future if I want to upgrade my pc........my motherboards highest capacity is 8gb ram and hence that is what i wanna get

Get what you want to get. If you want to grab 2x4gb go for it. If you want to use 2x2gb with a 1x4gb(etc, you get the point) then thats a little trickier and makes it so you can't use dual channel. Single channel mode is quite a bit worse for performance (in things that ram performance actually matter). We also can't guarantee that any ram config that isn't specifically sold in a kit will work perfectly together. Most times you won't have an issue but its not something I feel comfortable betting your money on.

kk cool so basically I should get a 2x2gbddr3 transcend ram itself and then all my slots will be used to give me a good performance ...... what if I put only 1x8gbddr3 corsair vengeance or a better 1 which u can suggest .....will my performance be affected???

the RAM single vs dual not different too much but 8GB usage more room than 4GB
just trial and error 8gb on A slot and 1x2gb in B slot, so IF you get lucky the system working
