Those temps are normal for you laptop. Nothing to worry.
Below 95c is generally considered safe temp, though the cooler its is the better.

Heres a review that says about heat :

"The Pavilion g4 is one cool laptop, and it remained so throughout our testing. After we ran our heat test (which involves streaming a full-screen Hulu video for 15 minutes), the touchpad measured only 78 degrees Fahrenheit, the keyboard 84 degrees, and the middle bottom only 90 degrees. We generally consider temperatures less than 95 degrees to be comfortable, so we were pleased to discover that the Pavilion g4 stayed well within this range. However, when did a lot of work on it--specifically, browsing the web, running a full antivirus scan and streaming a video on Netflix at the same time--the laptop's fan began to whir audibly."

I've just posted this on the Lenovo Google+ community...

Hey everyone, I was just wondering. I'm sitting outside in the heat with my IdeaPad Z580 on a Cooler Master stand with two fans, but when I'm processing video (which uses all my i7 cores at a constant 99%) my motherboard's temperature runs up to 81°C according to Piriform's Speccy.

How bad is it for the poor guy if it runs like that for an hour? The processor is still on 78°C.

Maybe there's a chart for dangerous temperatures for the different components...

Intel states that their cpu's won't risk melting before reaching 105 - 120 degrees C, depending on which of their cpu's you have. So you should be fine, but ofc lower is better.

If you have it available, i suggest using an aircompressor every now and then to clear out dust that is stuck inside the case without opening it up (so you don't lose your warranty).

And if possible, buy 2x airfilters and put them on the cooling stand, that should greatly reduce the amount of dust the pc sucks inn. :)

My gaming laptop motherboard temp is pretty high too around 70-80c while hardcore games and cpu and gpu around 70-75. my laptop is called Asus gl552vw. but light games like leauge of legends its only 60c on motherboard and 50c on cpu and gpu so i am guessing motherboard takes most of the heat?
