I have an old Dell laptop running Windows XP Home. I would like to save photos on it's drive to an external device, but nothing is recognized by computer. No drivers show up in the device manager. Was able to load a Norton device recovery file but laptop refuses to install same asking me to "verify the package exists or contact application vendor for verification". USB ports do not see anything, and though cd drive recognizes input, system will not let me burn files to a blank CD.
