Hey guys! I am going to be. Using steams big picture mode and I need to know if I should use a dvi cable to my tv for the pc mode or should I use an hd I for my tv. My tv is a Sony Bravia 32 inch tv. Also on a side note, does anyone know how to get windows 7 to make the screen and your browser fit on your tv without the sides cut off And without all that side scrolling that I have to do. The tv makes me do lots of scrolling to the sides but my monitor does not. Thanks!

Sony has LOTS of 32 Bravia tv's

Is it a flat screen? does the TV have DVI in? or just HDMI.

DVI if you have it will work, but does NOT bring sound while HDMI will bring video and sound.

Your sides being cut off is most likely an over-scan issue. TV's do this to get rid of the edges of video as they tend not to look nice.

Now video cards as well as some tv's(a mode called "just scan" in most cases) can either compensate(video card) or turn off(the TV) this feature.

More info on the TV and your computer specs would help.

TV: Sony Bravia KDL 32S3000 flat screen 32 inch tv with dvi and HDMI ports.

Computer specs:
CPU: FX 4300
GPU: HIS IceQ 7870 GHZ
MOBO: MSI 970A UD3

I`m pretty sure those are the only parts that would affect this.

OK well ensure you are set at 1366x768 resolution and see if the edges going off the screen gets any better.

Your video card has an option in the CCC(AMD Catalyst Control Center) to adjust the scaling under My Digital Flat Panels -> Scaling options(Digital Flat Panel).
