MSI G41M-P23 + Q9550 Overclocking

So I am wondering what is the best overclock I can get with this. Also I am kinda new to this and yes I know this a pretty bad rig.

Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
MSI G41M-P23(P25)
Kingston 8GB(4GBx2) 1066mhz DDR3
Thermaltake TR-500 TR2 ATX Power Supply - 500W

I've had my q9550 to 3.4 before. I currently have it running at 3.2. You must have an aftermarket cooler. If you don't, there's no point to overclock a core2quad. They run a lot warmer than i-core CPUs.

One thing is every system is different. Some can go much higher in clock rates. Other can't because of stability. Have you read the overclocking thread? http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/259899-29-core-overclocking-guide It's a lot to read but it is necessary. Take your time to read all of it.
