Hey everyone, I have a problem and hopefully someone has encountered this before.

This is the first PC I've build (had a PC knowing friend check that all the parts are compatible). Everything is working perfectly, however, once I bump up the RAM over 8GB, the red led light lights up and I have no screen signal.

Mobo:http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2522299
RAM:http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7447454

got a GTX 660 OC 2GB if it matters

600 Watt power supply

I know nothing is wrong with the RAM since my previous MOBO was running all 4x4Gb sticks perfectly, and I've also switched up the sticks on the current MOBO. The only problem is when there's more than 2 at a time.

I've also updated the BIOS to the latest build. I've tried standard and performance profile, doesn't change a thing.

I've also made sure that the voltage is at 1.65v , tried BIOS AI overclock tuner, set it at XMP profile 1. Didn't allow me to plug in more than two (8GB).

I've also tried pulling out the mobo, powering it up outside the case. No changes.

I'm at my wits end, I know that 8GB is enough for pretty much anything, but it would be nice if I could use all 4. If anyone has any ideas it would be great.

Well the BIOS automatically puts it at 1.65v and it's written 1.65v on the ram stick so I haven't touched the voltage yet.

As I mentioned I'm pretty new at this, is CMOS the came thing as BIOS? If so, yes I have tried to reset the BIOS settings, it's at standard default right now as I have no need to overclock.

Ok should I only change the voltage and leave everything else alone? Would that make it so I can use 4?
