Looking for a new gpu (gaming)

For right now my build has the MSI GeForce GTX 660 2GB and that's pretty much hitting my price limit. I am reluctant to go over unless there are noteable benefits.

Get an hd 7870. Preferably the XT, LE, MYST editions. They will be better cards.

Then you need atleast a GTX 670 FTW card call it a worthy upgrade.
Any lesser cards will not show any significant improvement in gaming from the GTX660.

Aparently AMD has optimized drivers so recently the Tahity LE is nearly in par with a GTX 670

No, I don't actually own the graphics card yet wich is why I'm asking how it would run in comparison to what you're suggesting.

if you only want to spend a few more bucks I really recommend the 7870 XT/LE/MYST editions.
