Computer stuck in infinite boot loop

A couple days ago, I was just studying for finals my computer crashed on me. Now whenever I try to turn it on, all my fans spin up for a brief moment, some LEDs on my motherboard come on and then in less than 2 seconds usually, it shuts down. Within a few seconds of that, the computer will start up again, the same things happen and it crashes. This will keep happening until I pull the plug on it.

Any clue as to what might be failing or how I can fix this?

Sounds like a short. I'd check to make sure you do not have any extra screw ports under the motherboard and check to see if every thing is seated properly just to double check.
