Changing SSD and Windows

I'm copying windows 8 and etc off my 64 gb ssd to my new 500 gb Samsung 840 with the apricorn sata wire hard drive upgrade kit. Once it is done, how do I wipe the 64 gb ssd?

First boot from the 500GB SSD to make sure it's working, then shut down and re-connect the old 64 GB (make sure you're set to boot from the 500 in the BIOS). Boot into the 500 GB, which will see the 64 as a secondary drive in Explorer. Right-click the drive in Explorer and select Format.
