If you are patient, you can catch a Sapphire 7870 XT/Powercolor PCS+ Myst 7870(Tahiti LE). Its a gpu based on a crippled Tahiti gpu(7950/7970) and is arguably one of the highest performing cards for its price. problem is that it sells out very quickly/

The Myst 7870 is loud and hot so I heard and really does not outperform a 7870 Ghz especially the 1100Mhz one from Gigabyte In fact the Gigabyte is faster.

got the myst edition like a week ago, and it isnt hot or loud, when gaming max temp ive reached is 68-71C and fan reaches only 40%. if you have headphones or just a slight sound coming from speakers you wont notice it

At any rate I am not impressed with the myst or XT 7870.

and yes 7870 ghz @ 1100mhz might have a better performance than a stock 7870xt but when the clocks are matched ghz is gone.

and btw, when fully overclocked 1200-1300 mhz, outperforms superclocked 680 in 3dmark11

7870 is the superior choice at the moment.
