First of all, my specs:

i5 3570k cpu (no overclock/stock cooler)
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 660 ti (stock)
8gb ram
500W Corsair builder PSU
3 x 1tb Western Digital HD
LG Blu Ray Burner

So everything seemed fine until I installed my 3rd hard drive recently, but I don't think thats the issue. A couple days ago, I noticed my GPU which had always idled at around 29/30 was now idling at 36...not a big deal, but I decided to use FurMark to stress test it. I chose the burn in test, and all was well (got up to a peak of about 72 degrees) until about 15 minutes in, my PC shut off completely, and would not turn back on until I fully reset the power. Since then, if I play a game (such as Bioshock Infinite), about 20-25 minutes into playing my PC shuts off completely. My main question is, do you think the issue is the CPU? I know the stock heatsink is supposedly horrible but I didn't have an issue until now. Any insight is appreciated, and if you need any more information from me just ask. Thanks guys.

Well my airflow isnt great as it is, but the additional drive wouldnt make a difference i dont think, because the drives all have a separate compartment away from everything else. I do agree it is suspicious that my problem started after the addition of another hard drive. You dont think the PSU could be the issue, seeing as how the PC shuts down...it just simply turns off without warning. I have everything plugged into a good quality Belkin surge protector and the PC will not turn back on until i reset, and furthermore, not right away, i need to wait atleast 30 seconds. My idle temps as of typing this are 35 for the gpu, and 39 for the CPU.
