Phenom ii x6 1075t
m4a79t deluxe
Radeon 5870
8gb OCZ DDR3 1033 (9-9-9-20)
Coolermaster Hyper 212+
Win 7 64-bit
750w PS

I had originally overclocked my PC to around 3.6ghz (with stock heatsink) but recently decided to reformat, take everything apart to clean out the dust and rebuild. After a fresh install and updating my drivers, I can only get my computer to boot with 15x CPU ratio and 220 FSB (3.30ghz). Anything higher causes the PC to repeat the splash screen over and over, BSOD with a variety of errors at the "Starting Windows" screen or just not post at all. Even when I get a stable boot at 3.30ghz, I get BSOD after about 20 minutes of playing source games. I installed the Coolermaster Hyper 212+ and replaced a case fan that stopped working with my "spring cleaning." Coretemp was not giving me a temperature readout but my BIOS is telling me my CPU is running at about 36C and my MB is running at about 31C. I am stumped. I don't know what to do or where to begin troubleshooting. My overclocking skills are about a 3/10 so any help would really be appreciative.

Maybe your ram need tweak in over 3.3 ghz , I had 1333 value need tweak RAM in 3.5ghz , different RAM will be different result, ..
drop ratio RAM or set 1066 (500 in cpu-z) or lossen timming like 10-10-10-28 with 667/default .. if can get , or raise small vdim 1.52v or more max 1.6v .. if your RAM need it.
also need setting Vcore manual maybe vary 1.28 -1.4 depent your chip .. clock 4ghz need 1.44v - or more depend chip, also need drop HT and max NB at 2200 also disabled other feature CnQ, turbo if enabled, spread spectrum
just @ suggestion .. good luck

Thank you for your response!

CnQ, Turbo and Spread Spectrum are all disabled.
HT and NB are set to Auto.
DRAM Freq is set below 1333 (1227 @ 230 FSB)
I increased my vCore to 1.6 and have been able to get a boot at 230 FSB (3.45ghz) but it is not very stable. I have managed to run CPU-Z while running at 3.45ghz and the odd thing is, CPU-Z is recording my CPU speed to be alternating back and forth between 3.45 and 4.02ghz. I don't know why that would be... Anymore ideas!?
