Good Build For 800$?

The hardware is generally good. Do you have a copy of Windows already? If not you'll need to add one.

Why go with the 2nd generation i5 over a 3570 though? The performance difference isn't huge but there's no reason not to get the third gen chip for a similar price. AMD recommends a 500W power supply for the 7850. You might get by with that GPU but I'd feel safer with a slightly higher wattage unit there.

it depends on what you are wanting to do with it, but regardless, here are a few suggestions:

1. If you are planning on overclocking your CPU (you are showing a 2500k) then your PSU is not going to handle it. The PSU may be iffy anyways since you plan on using a 7850 GPU. 450W minimum is suggested for the GPU, your PSU is only a 430. While the PSU may work, it would leave NO headroom for overclocking the 2500k. If you are not planning on overclocking, then get a non-"k" series CPU.

2. I am not familiar with the case you chose, but keep in mind, you get what you pay for. I would suggest a case from a quality manufacturer, such as Cooler Master, Antec, or NZXT just to name a few.

3. You could probably do better in your choice of memeory as well. You can get an 8 GB kit for near the same price as what you have listed.

4. Also, I don not see an operating system listed, don't forget you will need that as well. (as previously mentioned by SchizTech)

Here is a better build, IMHO:

* CPU doesn't OC, so you save $ on it, if you don't want/need that option.
* Mobo supports OC'ing and is only about $10-20 more than cheaper options. It also supports front USB 3.0 ports (for your case).
* RAM has LOW PROFILE heat spreaders (so you can use just about any aftermarket CPU HSF) and runs at 1600 mHz @ CAS 8 timings at stock voltage of 1.5v.
* GPU is one of the better ones to get for the $! Price to performance is good!
* Case is one of the best in this price range and has plenty of upgrade options, if you desire to take advantage of them.
* PSU can power any single GPU out on the market!

Intel OC'ing build, just like above, except for the CPU:

* CPU when OC'd will perform close to i5 3570k (easily done) and also will do well in multitasking tasks (because of 8 cores).
* Mobo supports front USB 3.0 ports and supports 3/4 way Xfire, if you ever want to.

I also forgot to tell you that you could add an aftermarket CPU HSF, if you want a bit quieter or faster (more OC'ing room) system.

The build is good and I like the i5 2500K and the Radeon 7850. But what I don't like is the power supply and case. The 450W power supply may power your build for now but it will make it hard for you to expand in the future. I would go for at least a 550W which won't cost to much more. Also with the case you want something with high build quality as you will most likely use the case with future builds. I would go with an Antec 300 or a Rosewill Challenger. Other than that the build is good. Also you won't be able to overclock the i5 2500K using the H77 chipset on the motherboard (according to Intel since it is a sandy bridge processor).

Yes those are valid points. I included those in my build(s) above just for that reason :)

i think i will go with your first build. i want to stream and play games like bioshock infinite on good settings

Any of the builds will do what you want to do, it just depends on your preference. You won't be disappointed with any of them.
