I am going to be building a pc in the near future. My budget is around $800, but I might go a little over if it is a good deal. I will be buying parts hear and there, but would like to have my parts purchased buy the end of summer. I would prefer to go with a intel/nvidia configuration, as I have had good experiences with them in the past. I will use it for light gaming and using the internet, but would like it to be capable of playing today's games at a playable fps and resolution. The monitor that I am using currently and will be using in that build is 1024x768 resolution. The other parts not required are keyboard, mouse, and speakers. I also have a external cd drive, but if can fit in the budget, you can throw in a cd burner. No blue ray or anything extravagant, just something basic that will get the job done. I will be using windows 7 or 8-if you guys can tell me which one to get, I will go that route. Do you guys have any ideas of what I should get for this build?

Buy the parts all at once. Once you put it together, if anything is bad in the earlier bought parts it may be too late to send them back.

Ok, good point! I guess I will have to do that then. I will try and keep the same budget, but might have to drop it down a little bit later on. For now, stick with $800 as the budget. Purchase-mid to late summer
