In the settings for GTA IV, the resource usage (which is the amount of vram) is only out of 1952mb while using the TITAN.

Is this just a glitch?

Thanks!

It probably either recognizes the Titan as GTX 680 or is simply limited to 2GB RAM in general. The PC version of GTA IV is a very, very poorly ported game so I wouldn't be amazed by any kind of irregular behavior that game might come up with.

The resource limitation was giving people a lot of headache when the game first came out and I recall there was some kind of a tweak to make the game ignore the resource limitations altogether. If you're having some issues, try running some searches on how to do just that.

If you just want to convince yourself that your Titan can properly access all its VRAM banks, look it up on either Nvidia Control Panel or GPU-Z. I'd trust them 100 years before I would trust anything that GTA IV PC version claimed.

If I remember right GTA4 can't utilize more than 2GB of VRAM. Its just a crap game.

Yea agree. One of the best games of this generation, just a shame it runs so poorly on PC.
