Hi,

Please don't laugh, but this is MY first time even consider build a PC for myself. I'm one of those people who would just buy a computer from best buy and I'm sick of not getting my money worth.

My Budget is around 700-800 dollars and the only thing I pick out so far is the case. I want a i5 that can run the newer games on either high or ultra. I don't care much for SSD or liquid cooling yet.

COOLER MASTER Storm Stryker SGC-5000W-KWN1 Black and White Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case - $159.99

Thank you,

So I'm guessing your just after a no frills gaming rig? You might have to drop the requirement for that case though, a $150 case on an $800 build is going to cut down somewhere it shouldn't.

Thank you manofchalk, I wasn't after a no frills gaming rig. The case caught my eye if you know what I mean. Should I buy everything from newegg? Do you recommend anything else, ie heat sink etc

Unless your overclocking or are concerned about silence you don't really need aftermarket cooling on the CPU. Given your budget, I didn't give the rig the capability to overclock, as that would have added to the cost a fair bit.
Definitely recommend an SSD if you can afford one, they really do make a difference.

Buy from wherever is cheapest and that you trust. You can see the total price of the build if you were to buy from only each retailer by clicking the "Price Breakdown by Merchant" link.
