I record for youtube, and i stopped for a while. I recently decided to start recording again but when I did my fps dropped dramatically (from about 75 to 10 fps) it seemed to have happened in every game I tried. I never had the problem before. My specs are:
Win7 64 bit
GTX680 4gb
8gb DDR3 RAM
Intel Core i5 - 3570K quad core cpu
I dont think it's hardware wise, i get about 75-80 frames on just about every game. I am also recording to a 1tb internal hard drive with a 7200 rpm. I have tried every software for recording from FRAPS to MSI Afterburner. I always record and 1080p at 30fps. Even recording at half-size still dropped the fps. If any one can help it would be much appreciated
