psu for graphic card!!!!!

Is corsair VS550 good for my HD 4870??? plz help me....

my specs:-
PROCESSOR--AMD phenom 2 X6 1055T
MOTHERBOARD--GIGABYTE GA-78LMT-S2P
RAM--4GB DDR3 KINGSTON 1333MHZ
HDD-SEAGATE 250 GB
DVD WRITER--LG 24-X
MONITOR--SAMSUNG 18 INCH LCD

The VS series are actually made by ChannelWell and are, IMO, iffy as to reliability. 550W is certainly sufficient for what your rig requires, but I would suggest stepping up to the Corsair CX series or a similar size Seasonic. It is fine and has the same 3 year warranty as CX series and is built by the same company but is only a single voltage input unit.
