My laptop model is Pavilion dv6 3116tu. So far i've been using internet through usb modem. Now, when I tried to connect to Wifi, it shows problem with wireless adapter. The computer can detect wifi networks, but can't connect to them. I have Ralink RT3090 802.11b/g/n Wifi adapter installed. Do I need some other driver too? Please help...

I've tried the "troubleshoot problems", it says "Problem with wireless adapter or access point". Routers are working fine as everybody else can connect to the internet. I, however, can't connect to any router. And yes, I've restarted my laptop many times. And I don't have physical access to routers so I can't possibly restart them.
