Have a problem with that when I change the CPU multiplier, eg from 42 - 43 or 41 in the bios or just load defaults then save. then I check with Prime95 + cpu z but the CPU is still at 4.2ghz .. I go into the bios again .. Multiplier is still on what i changed it to (43/41 / default) but the test is still in 42ghz. To change this I must clear CMOS, switch settings again in bios and then save.. its only then that it changes the multiplier. clearing cmos is something i have to do each time i wanna change the multiplier.

PS: I didnt have this problem when I first built my computer about 4 months ago. I overclocked to anything as i wanted and didnt have to clear cmos each time for it to work like i have to now. atm its stable on 4.2GHz 1.13v

My question is:
is it time to update the bios or is there another solution to this?
