I have decided I wanted an HD 7870 graphics card, but want to choose the best for the price.

Bearing in mind this is in NZ dollars, these are my options. In USD, the cheapest is $271.34 up to the most expensive, $363.11 (at the time of writing this).
If the cheapest is a very viable option, I would love to save the extra cash, and I can't really stretch above NZD 350, max 370.

Factors worth mentioning, some time in the future I may want to run crossfire, and I highly doubt I will use resolutions higher than 1920x1080, but may run multiple screens for convenience in work, and possible gaming if it will handle well. Want something that will last too.

This PowerColor Radeon HD7870 PCS+ Myst. Edition is much faster than any HD7870 and will be near as good as HD7950

Most of the places its out of stock due to its extreme demand, get it if you can.

Heres one review of the card : http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/tahiti-le-7870-7930-benchmark,3401.html
Thanks

That shows quite definitively that the Myst ed. is significantly better than some, and i have heard the tahiti gpu is better.
If they have them in stock any time soon for a reasonable price (doesn't go up) then I'll probably go for it.

Well Asus /Gigabyte/MSI make the best cooling for the cards. Looking at the list Gibabyte was the cheapest one there.

Have had many brands but Asus/Evga are the best for me. Also a gigabyte was the first card i bought. It was silent at idle and if i cranked the Fan would cool the card like a beast (460).

So i suggested it.

I feel as though most of the cards on the page are over priced because you can get a 7870 hawk for ~230 and I absolutely love that card to death. I have a near 40 percent overclockability before I hit the voltage limit in afterburner.

In terms of cooling and noise, that sounds about right to me, but I have decided I will stretch to the XT (tahiti LE) and so the sapphire one there seems good to me, which is comparable to the PowerColor Myst Ed. and for the same price, but probably better cooling.
Won't be buying for a few weeks I think, so I'll see if things change at all...

I am not sure what the conversion rate from us to new zealand dollars is, but those still seem high because that would mean your dollar is worth roughly half of what the US's dollar is and we are pretty low on the world market for the value of our money.

The Sapphire HD 7870 XT which I hope to get is around USD $290 which converts to NZD $341.22 at the moment. The cheapest option here is around $370, and that is to be expected really, in a country of just 4 million, the prices will be higher, but to import from the states will cost a lot more on top of the $341.22.

Well..you can take gigabyte 7870 2GD model. it's a pre-overclocked for you at 1100 MHz. that's quite a high clock frequency. The cooling performance overall is seriously better.
