The benchies on the two cards for Crysis and Crysis 2 are mixed

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GeForce_GTX_660_Ti_Direct_Cu_II/12.html

Crysis2 @ 1920 x 1200
660 Ti - 52.6 fps @ $255 = $4.85 per frame
7950 - 54.5 @ $270 = $4.95 per frame
Asus 660 Ti DCII - 56.1 @ $260 = $4.63 per frame

Crysis @ 1920 x 1200
660 Ti - 44.2 fps @ $255 = $5.77 per frame
7950 - 45.5 @ $270 = $5.93 per frame
Asus 660 Ti DCII - 45.9 @ $260 = $5.66 per frame

http://uk.hardware.info/reviews/3026/11/nvidia-geforce-gtx-660-ti-review---3-way-sli-included-crysis-2

Crysis2 @ 1920 x 1200
660 Ti - 60.8 fps @ $255 = $4.19 per frame
7950 - 50.3 @ $270 = $5.37 per frame

http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/asus_geforce_gtx_660_ti_directcu_top_review,21.html

Crysis 2 @ 1920 x 1200
660 Ti - 49 fps @ $255 = $5.20 per frame
7950 - 56 @ $270 = $4.82 per frame
Asus 660 Ti DCII - 53 @ $260 = $4.90 per frame

Average
660 Ti - 54.1 fps = $4.71 per frame
7950 - 53.6 fps = $5.03 per frame

It's a close run, w/ 2 outta 3 going to the 660 Ti on a cost per frame basis .... making it a toss up if considered based on Crysis and Crysis 2 alone. Overall the techpowerup article above gives a slight edge to the 7950 w/ 96% of the Asus 660 Ti's performance compared to the stock 660 Ti's 95%. That 1% advantage has to be considered against the relative price as you pay 6% more for that 1% performance gain. In short ....

-On a pure performance basis, overall, the 7950 has a 1% advantage over the stock 660 Ti
-On a cost per frame basis, overall, the 660 Ti has a 5% advantage over the stock 7950

However, the frame rate latency issue is another one to consider.
