Hey guys, I just bought a Kingston HyperX 3k 120gb SSD. Bought it for my OS (Win7) and a Game or 2 (WoW/Diablo3). Everything seems to be running great and the performance increase is amazing. Everything is SOO much faster. Only issue i seem to have is that when i click on "Computer" one second my Local Disk (C:) (SSD) will say 44.4 gb Free Space, and then il look at it again 10 mins later and it will say 49.4 gb free. And back and forth. Im not installing anything else or deleting it just keeps changing. Any reason for this? Is it that big of a deal?

An interesting observation for which I have no explanation.
Perhaps you can list the space used at each reported capacity and look for something obvious in the 4gb size.
It sounds suspiciously like a hiberfile that is alternately being created and deleted.

As to the "tweaks" suggested, I would generally disagree with many of the items.
They were originally developed some two years ago when ssd costs per gb were much higher.
1. Page file is there for a reason.
2. system restore is also there for a reason. You will find out what reason applies to you if you need it and it is not there.
3. Defrag is automatically turned off when windows detects a ssd.
I find that documenting all non standard "tweaks" is a pain, and the performance and space savings are not important.
Just me.
