Ok, so I know this isn't a new thing on this site but I'm having difficulty with my monitor turning black while doing some tasks on my computer. I've recently changed the power supply, heat sink, and gotten new fans because it was overheating before. Now before you tell me what the problem is based on that I'd like to explain:
So at first my screen would go black while playing games and it would cut me off if I was speaking to friends through Skype. Then after some upgrades it would turn off the screen and leave it on standby but I could talk with people rarely. When it's turning my screen to standby its as though it is shutting down, because any progress I had while doing whatever would be lost.
Now I don't even have to be gaming, I've recently tried downloading guild wars 2, and before I can even install the game it turns off my screen and resets all my installing progress. Aside from this being recurring, annoying, and agrivating this is the first time it's played it's tricks while not having a game booted up. Any help would be vastly appreciated and I'm open to any and all suggestions.
