FPS Issues in Far Cry 3

I recently got Far Cry 3, and I heard that it was quite optimized, so I cranked up the settings to ultra. I found I was getting around 50-60fps in the wilderness, and about 40fps in towns. I found this strange because my friends seem to get solid 60fps. My specs are:

AMD FX 6100 @ 3.30Ghz
8GB Corsair Vengeance RAM @ 1600Mhz
EVGA GeForce GTX 670 4GB FTW Edition
ASUS M5A 78L-m XL v2 Motherboard
750w PSU

If anyone can tell me how to optimize it (And don't tell me to turn down settings, I've done that, and it's like a 1 frame boost) I would be thankful.

Thanks, but how far should I overclock, as I haven't done it before.

If you want to overclock an AMD FX-6100, you need an aftermarket cooler. Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo would be the best for the money and you could overclock an AMD FX-6100 easily above 4GHz.

I have a cooler, that's no problem.

What cooler do you have? If it's a default cooler which came with the processor, than it's a bad thing to overclock it with it.

It's a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo, I brought it along side the CPU.

Yeah that cooler is perfectly fine, let us know how you go with overclocking :)
