The problem I am having is I'm not sure what settings to have the cpu on.

Running a 6100 6 core atm

The reason I ask is because my computer keeps crashing meaning I have to hold the power button down to restart it. Not sure if its to do with the cpu cooling or graphics or power supply problem.

I have an event log if that would help solve the problem just let me know

Update = Ok had a BSOD last night for the first time in years as well

If this helps I have used a program called Furmark and kept the log of the gpu while running it. I don't think its the GPU I am thinking its a psu problem. If you need anymore files that could help find out the problem let me know

Update 1 = I have uploaded the correct event log to. so anyone able to help me that would be great
Update 2 = Installed windows 8 again from Windows 7 and tried sim city again, When all the weird squares started to appear I managed to Alt-f4 before my screen cut off if this helps even more. So still having the same problem as I did have with Windows 7
