Hey guys!

I have a 3770k and a Titan and I've been really enjoying the few games which have worked well with nVidia Surround. I'm working on getting Mass Effect 3 and other games like the original Crysis (Steam version) to run now, but an issue I encountered awhile ago when i first began is still here:

Whenever I move my mouse the fps drops, sometimes to 0 if i move it enough.

The original fix I had for this was a simple reinstall of both Steam and Origin. This fixed the issues with everything in Steam, and BF3 never had issues so the Origin reinstall didn't have any noticeable improvements until I attempted to play ME3.

Even with the Flawless Widescreen fixes nothing seems to work. FPS still drops. Clean reinstall didn't help, obviously.

Any suggestions?

Found the fix, apparently!

This is an issue dealing with the nvmsmartmaps (located in the Program files/ Nvidia Corporation/ Display) which run when you span multi-monitor displays in Surround. These run in order to prevent your windows from maximizing across all three screens when you open them...that's pretty much it. You move the two .exe files in to a separate folder, restart your computer, span displays in surround, and you should be good to go.

Fix found on the Nvidia forums, created by a smart and independent user there!
