I recently bought a Nintendo 64 and hooked it up to my 22" LED tv. My Xbox 360, Playstaion 1 and 2 work perfectly fine in the AV port. But when I start up the 64, the screen is blurry and static. Any ideas?

By AV port you mean composite right?

Maybe the cable it self is bad. The Nintendo Mutli-Out -> Composite(Yellow/Red/White) should be easy to come by since the same one was used for SNES as well.

It may be a good idea to test it out at a friends place to see if it does the same thing.

If you have so many systems a good investment is to buy a multi adapter that has most of the systems on one plugin adapter. This way you can just plug it into each system as you go to play them. And what channel is the 64 set to? Do you have it on av in? Channel 3? Channel 4? That can also cause the same thing.

Mine works fin on composite video, on my led tv. Have you tested it on a different tv,MIT May be the cord, test it again on 2 TVA, still doesn't work... Well, your console may not work, there are services that still repair those, nintendo might even. But if non of these work and you don't want to go through the trouble of sending it in, get a refund, but I guess that would be the worst of them all.

Try to plug the yellow A/V cable into the green "Y" input if you have component inputs available, also try cleaning the pins on the game by blowing on them or getting a q-tip.
