I have an issue going on with my PC that could possibly be tied to my graphics card. My computer has been completely shutting off during game play, no warning, just off. Ive been using Speed Fan to monitor its temperatures. the highest its been going is 54'C, while playing a game. i have all the drivers and everything updated.

When everything is going haywire(turning off) a red light appears on the graphics card itself on the side of the card the fan is on. Please help if anyone has any insight to my problem!

Thank You!

That may indicate either a power problem or a heat problem. I can't remember if that card had 2 LEDs or just one or, if 2, which indicated which problem. If it is a heat issue, you may need to re-apply the thermal paste on the card. Especially if it still has the original stuff on it. It may have dried out and is no longer providing good heat transfer.

If it is a power problem, it may be the card itself or the PC's power supply failing.

How would I re-put Thermal Solution onto my graphics card? Also I don't think it is a heat problem, since I did dust it off and such and 50C is not that hot, according to my research.

You're right, the temps you stated are not bad at all. I was thinking it may have been spiking occasionally. And you seemed to indicate you thought it was due to your card. But the red light could also be an indication that the PSU's +12V rail can't maintain the voltage when stressed. Generally speaking, when a PC re-boots or shuts down, it is because the PSU can't keep up... or is failing.
