so ive recently upgraded to an SSD and lately ive been bombarded with many notices like "you only have 3 mb left!" and so one which is understandable and after most notifications i go through my SDD and clean up files etc. except it has come to the point where i cant delete anything else ive put most of my files on a second HDD however it still saying that i have only a few mb left. So i decided to see which folder in the c: drive was taking up most of the space except when i go to the properties of all the folders combined it sais ive only used up 90GB!!! (i have a 120gb SSD) WHERE THE HELL DID THE OTHER 30GB's COME FROM!?? i need to know asap half the webpages i go to wont even load the CSS cause i have no space, help me please!

Thanks
Tim

Windirstat is useful for finding large programs/folders, though I don't think it can show hidden files such as restore points.

Some of it used for the system restore Parton. If you have windows swap file on the sad there goes some of your space. Also the sad firmware locks out a block of space for the trash clean up and wear leaving of the ssd. Look on toms and online on ssd speed up and tweaks they show you want needs to be turned off in windows and or moved to the hard drive.

Cleaned eveything up (deleting restore points etc..) gained a couple gigs of space. A week later going through files found out a game that i was playing was recording everytime i played it. Which explins why i always ge low space errors when i play it. It was 40gb!!
