Processor: AMD A4-5300 Trinity 3.4GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A85X-UP4
Memory:2x4gb ddr3 RAM 1600mhz
PSU: corsair, seasonic, XFX, Antec, PCP&C 600w
hd: WD 500gb

is this setup ok? im planning to upgrade my processor soon but for now ill go with the cheapest one.

does a4 5400 compatible with a 1600mhz? or it doesnt have any connections at all? lol cause i just watched a vid that says it cant detect a 1600mhz ram using a4-5400.

can you suggest a ram brand?
 
I like G.Skill, Corsair, Crucial, & Adata. It all depends on cost and options when it comes down to what I want to buy, but generally I select G.Skill sets, because they usually have LOW PROFILE heat spreaders and are fairly affordable for the performance that you get. Just make sure you get a Dual Channel set (usually 2 x 2 gb or 2 x 4 gb, depending on budget) and make sure they are at least CAS 9 timings and run at stock voltage of 1.5v.

how would i know if they are in a CAS 9 timing??

Here is a link to an example. You can look at the descriptions and details to find the "timing" values. CAS latency is the "timings" info on some details, so look at those values to also find the timings. Here is a set with CAS 10 timings. Which means they run a bit slower than the CAS 9 timings on the previous link.
