Motherboard/graphics card dilemma

I recently decided to upgrade my processor, and bought a suitable motherboard with it.
So here's the thing, I'm currently holding two graphics cards (old: Radeon HD 5450, new: GeForce GTX 295) and two motherboards (old: Foxconn 2AA9 I think, new: Asus F1A75-V pro). I'm using a single stick of memory.

The issue is with the new graphics card and the new motherboard together. Insert either graphics card into the old Foxconn motherboard and they all work like a charm, but inserting the new graphics card into the new motherboard gives me no video output whatsoever. The old graphics card on the new motherboard works, though. I also tried using the on-board graphics card on the new motherboard and got no signal from there either.
When testing, I'm using the same hard drive, the same stick of memory and the same power source.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
