I need help finding an old computer game that I use to play on my PC. It was an early type of First person sci-fi pure exploration MMO from the early-mid 2000s on the XP system. You were this space explorer in this new galaxy that had thousands of stars in it to explore. You would control your character with your mouse and WASD, highlight where you want to go, and you would go. You could then explore the system and take a travelpod down to the rocky planets. You could name anything that you came across that was not already named, and you could go through the server and find other locations that other players had found.

It was a 3D environment, very low resolution (ala Minecraft). Your Ship was a simple box, 16x16x8 and one of the walls was a huge window. On this window, you could pull up information about your ship. There was also a smaller Navigational computer on the righthand side that had all the known planets and additional planets on your sensor grid. There was very little in way of alien life. I think there was only 3 whole planets in the whole galaxy that was even habitable. Also, there was no actual plot, just go out and explore. You also had stardrive fuel to worry about where you had to harvest fuel from a certain type of star.

I think there was a backstory where you are the remains of a race of explorers whose homeworld was destroyed by a supernova. and your race was felinoid.

If there is anything else you need to specify this, just ask.
