Hello all, I'm ordering a pc today for editing and gaming, the budget I was given is £1400, the pc is exactly this much. Please tell me what you think, will it work? What would you change? Thanks

What case are you going to use?

EDIT: Oh its not a self build, would work out alot cheaper if you knew you could do it yourself =/

Thanks! I'm not totally sure yet, I was leaning towards the zalman z11 plus, but I am still undecided

Yeah I'd liked to have built it myself, but I don't have the time at the moment, would you mind giving me an estimate on how much it would have cost if I were to build it myself? Thanks

My current PC was originally built by PC Specialist. I haven't had too many problems with them but I know many who have. My dad bought a PC from them and it was completely dead after a year. If you know what you're doing I would definitely build one yourself. I have slowly started replacing most the components I originally got from them and double checked all components and installation upon first delivery of it.

BTW, I went for the Zalman Z11 plus a few months ago and its AWESOME! Such a good case with plenty of room for playing and loads of fans!

The total cost of building yourself would be with a case and operating system 200-300 pound less than prebuilt.

You'll also find you personally can scale stuff back and save money here and there for little performance loss.
