I just recently purchased an MSI Radeon 7870 Twin Frozr III to crossfire with another 7870 Twin Frozr that I have but when I run a 3DMark11 the benchmark shows I have 3,072 MB of video memory. Shouldn't it be around 4GB of video memory since each card has 2GB of memory or is it suppose to be at 3,072 MB. Thanks for the help.

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth 990FX
CPU: AMD FX 8350
RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) Kingston HyperX Blu
GPU: 2x MSI Radeon 7870 Twin Frozr III

dont trust windows. its not 3gb and it shouldnt be 4gb.

The memory is not shared between cards, but rather mirrored to allow each card to render the same scene at alternating intervals. so 2x2GB cards is still only 2GB
