Sounds like a bad keyboard.
In many cases, they can be replaced without a huge headache or extreme cost. You don't need much/any experience, and there are youtube videos for practically EVERY laptop (as it's a little different for each one). Sometimes you can't really do it, but you have good reason to hope.
