Actually i purchased a new desktop and i install windows 8 pro. these OS was installed but asking some activation number. May i knw wat is exactly was tht....

if you bought windows 8 pro, it should be on the package.

If a big OEM company like HP or dell supplied the dekstop, the key is integrated and should just activated or there will be a sticker on the side/bottom.

If you purchased Win8 Pro on CD, then there should be a sticker or card giving your a licvence key.

If you got it any other way, sorry we can't help.
