I'm wondering if i can oveclock my gpu.
I have a ATI Radeon HD 7640g+7670m 1.5 gb.
Can i?
Sometimes games like bf3 are running smooth, even on high+ settings with 40 fps.But sometimes they doesn't ,and i really dunno why.So thats why i would like to overclock it.
If that doesn't helps on getting better fps then what sould i do?

Solution
You can and this thread says how. From what I have heard from people the gpu can be well overclocked. Make sure that you take fastest ram you can get (tell me the model and I will find it). You might void the void the warranty.

If you decide to overclock disable the turbo function if you can; their apu have some issues when the turbo is on that the the apu has lower GHz than it should but this is solved by disabling the turbo-function.

Happy overclocking!
To be honest you might be able to increase the clock speed of the APU a bit but it won't make any noticeable performance difference.

I'm surprised it plays at 40fps on high, thats not bad even considering the dips. I would suggest turning some settings down to increase the FPS. Kinda obvious but its not use having great graphics if you can't play the game at the same time, might as well just go watch a video of someone else playing, atleast in that you get better fps :)

It doesn't... i mean with overdrive i made something.I increased gpu clock to 824 mhz...BUT i disabled TurboCore and CAN'T re-enable!!! PLEASE HELP!!! it was 2.8 ghz now its 1.9 and doesnt gets higher! BTW i think its working :D but its sure its doesnt damage my laptop if i overclock to1300mhz? which is the safest mhz?

Can you make screen shots of the bios settings so that we can see something?

You can overclock as high as possible; you will notice it's to higher because the system will become unstable and you will get blue screens.

You could try to see if there is a modded bios for your laptop.

Wait, you are trying to overclock a laptop? ... Don't even try. They aren't even remotely designed for that kind of heat disipation. Its not just the cpu temp you need to worry about with laptops, its every single other component. Not to mention increasing the voltage would deplete battery life / increase the load on the battery / put extra stress on the VRMs which on laptops aren't cooled much.

Its just not a good idea.

I will need to skype with you as I need to see what is possible and not. Here is a guide how to previous generation APU. It should be similar like previous generation.

Have you enabled hybrid-crossfire between 7460G and 7670? in catalyst you to achieve higher fps however the drivers are not stable, in some games, so you might get blue screens.

I know a few that have laptops with APU inside them and they did overclocked their APU because the APU was cool and could therefore operate as overclocked, if it can be considered as "overclocking".

From the guide that I game him he might be able to reach 2,3GHz at 1,135V which is't that bad. with Piledriver he might even get higher frequencies.
