Hello,
I bought a new graphics card recently and I installed it.
The fan is spinning, but it won't get detected by the device manager. My old graphics card isn't detected either. I'm currently using the onboard one.
Neither graphics card needs an additional power supply plug thingy, so it's not that. Is it possible that my PCI-E slot is broken?
Thanks in advance.

First thing I'd so is check for bent pins inside the slot.
I recently "lost" the 2nd pci-e slot on my motherboard while changing cards out -- removed one card (working) put in another card and the new card didn't work. Put the original card back in - it didn't work anymore either. In my case it also ended up breaking the cards... nothing like losing 2x 7970s in one day...
