Hi guys,

I was wondering whether you could help me here.

I just sold my PC and looking to buy a super awesome laptop.

I had a EVGA GTX 580 in my desktop and I am looking for better performance in my laptop. I was looking at the

Intel Core i7 3840QM Quad-Core 2.80GHz (3.80GHz TurboBoost), 8MB Cache

16GB DDR3 1333MHz (4 X 4GB)

4GB NVIDIA GTX 680M

Would I need a single 680M be more powerful. I can't seem to get a comparison of the two.

yea most probably... but it will be a lot more expensive and stuff will be literally hot and may even perform less if the configuration is not cooled enough...
and to be honest... laptop cooling is never enough lol

Yeah I thought that, I've never had a laptop before but looking at these origin PC's/Laptops which are top notch quality. I literally just play League of legends and Tomb Raider anyway haha :)

Tomb Raider is a very, very demanding game when you turn SMAA up to x4. No laptop solution can handle that on 1920x1080. Hell, 2 laptops can't handle that (not kidding either). Yes, 4 GTX 680Ms will not do it, which isn't even an option out there. Then again, I don't think anyone outside of the Titan crowd (2 or more of them) can get 60FPS with those settings in-game (the benchmark is not representative).
