Hi
My motherboard is msi z77a-gd55 and my casing is silverstone PS02.

What i can't understand is this, how to connect the power on-off, reset switch, hdd led etc pins correctly.
I have read the manual for both, the problem is when it says the pin having triangle is positive should i connect

triangle -> positive pin
or
triangle -> negative pin

It is confusing me completely and don't want to risk anything with such stupid things to damage anything just bought everything new for my pc.

If someone can just give me explanation( can be length) about the triangle stuff and fitting it into which pin will be great. And please be straight forward with example to be much more clear.

I don't understand your confusion. If your manual identifies the positive pin with a mark (triangle) why would you connect it to the negative pin ? On most cases there are two LEDs and two switches. The switches can be connected either way and will work. The LEDs will only work one way but connecting them opposite will harm nothing. Just turn them around if they don't work.

Confusion is triangle positive end of wire needs to go into positive pins or negative pins it doesn't state that which ends goes where just what is positive and negative ends are.

OK, I get it. Rarely would you ever connect positive to negative anywhere in the electronics world.
