So I dont have blank DVDs laying around, and I need to reformat my laptop. I am intending to use my 16GB memory usb card to do this by putting Windows 7 Home Premium OS on there. I know how to do that part with the ISO image and all and have my product key.

Issue is can I use my USB memory stick once I am done with formatting and reinstalling Windows 7 or will it forever haunt me and be my Windows 7 USB permanently (because I forgot the stupid discs which came with my Dell)??

Thanks and sorry for going into the detail, but there was no other way to explain my problem.

you can still use it, you might need to format it afterward (I always have after an installation with usb).

Yeah just right click reformat when you plug it in and Windows detects it.
